"Terrell Owens: Just Having Fun Celebrating"

Terrell Owens' touchdown celebration penalty last night during the Cowboys v. Cleveland game was absolute horseshit. I see running backs doing somersaults, Jack-Palance style pushups with hand clapping, and plenty of end-zone dancing. They picked T.O. out because of his rep.

I'm really tired of the criticism of T.O.'s attitude. Yes, he acted like an ingracious bastard during his tenure with the Eagles. But let's be honest. The Eagles are a 2nd, if not a 3rd tier team at best. With T.0.'s talent, wouldn't you be pissed off when your QB and other members of the offensive line don't support your efforts?

Moving to Dallas was the best move possible for T.O. Coach Wade Phillips has clearly demonstrated that he won't put up with any shit, and Terrell seems less cocky and more like a teamplayer.

*** While "I Sold My Soul To Satan / Whiny Ass" Tom Brady has suffered an ACL injury that may be a season ender, I'm not happy. Yes, the Cowboys have a better shot as a Superbowl team. Like my brother, though, I'm convinced that it doesn't count if the odds weren't even. I'm wishing Brady comes back for the playoffs, and the Pats prove they can hang in there without him.

*** Falcons QB Matt Ryan certainly demonstrated his talent yesterday. That first pass game opener was incredible; there isn't any doubt this young 'un is hot shit. I'm incredibly interested this season - for the first time ever - in how this new team progresses. Arthur Blank - mad props to you for the risks you took trying to put this team back together. I think you're going to get some stinking sweet ROI on your efforts.
